A girls guide to going out

[vc_row full_width="" parallax="" parallax_image="" container_class="" color_overlay="" section_custom_id=""]Girls! Are you following these 5 rules when you go out?
  1. Pick your shoes. There is nothing worse than going out on the town and wearing shoes that feel like they are three sizes too small. Not only will it put you in a bad mood but it will take away from you enjoying your evening. I am not saying to forego the style for comfort…no way! I am saying pick your shoes based on the evening. If you will be walking a lot, it is probably not the best idea to wear a new pair of 5” heels. Instead pick a pair that you know you can walk easily in and that will allow you to make it in home without blisters.
  2. Uber! There is absolutely no need to take the risk of drinking and driving and change your life or someone else's life forever. Even if you are not drinking you can still be putting yourself in a dangerous situation. If you are a female walking down a poorly lit street you are clearly jeopardizing your safety. In many situations the Uber can be less expensive than driving. When you have Uber pick you up at the convenience of your home and drop you off you don't need to drive around looking for parking. An added bonus is you don't need to pay for parking!
  3. Carry cash. Set a budget for your night. It can become so easy to put a credit card down for one drink then the bartender asks you the question, “should I leave the tab open?” By the end of the night you end up buying the entire bar a round of drinks and you have maxed out your credit card.
  4. Leave something to the imagination. It is not flattering when you are going out and show everything. For example, if you want to show your legs off then cover up the girls. No need to look like a Jersey Shore hot mess. At the end of the day it does not look classy nor will you be respected.
  5. Keep yourself safe. It is easy for us to become a target especially if we have been drinking. Regardless of the number of drinks make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Be extremely careful of who hands you a drink, it is so easy for someone to slip something into it. Also, make sure you know how to get home safely and you are not putting yourself in a vulnerable situation.
